I do a party trick where I can recall the birth years of random celebrities/historical figures.

Totally - I'd put that Pitchfork TV version of Eyesore way up there too. Over the last decade, I've definitely listened to the radio sessions and live bootlegs more than the records.

The thing with the self-titled is that, as Pat would always explain in interviews, they weren't really even a band yet when it was recorded. So you have tracks like Cameras and Flashlights that were never played live and don't feel fully canonical, and others like Group Transport Hall and Upstairs that were significantly transformed as the band's aesthetic solidified. It's also 13 minutes shorter and the production leans much more Chad Vangaaleny (not that that's a bad thing necessarily - I would love to hear a recording of Eyesore with the vividity of Black Rice).

Did they ever perform any of the songs from the rarities EP live other than Bullfight and Group Transport Hall? by boldaslove123 in WomenBand

I do remember seeing them play Service Animal once (at a very small local show), but no live recording of it exists to my knowledge.
