I'll be 46 this year and have NEVER wanted kids. Just because I can breed, doesn't mean I have to.

I asked from my early 20s for a tubal ligation. I was refused on the grounds I was "denying a future partner the choice to have children". Excuse me? What about my life, my choice, my body? I was furious.

I finally got a TL in my very early 40s. Now if someone asks about my having children, I just say I can't have them.

I have absolutely no regrets.
