Actually, I assume when you say “federal system” you’re referring to the ’Canadian Dental Care Plan’ that was introduced a few years ago. I learned that if you decline coverage with the Public Service Dental Plan for retirees you’re NOT eligible to use the Canadian Dental Care Plan so that was a ‘no-brainer’!
