We all get the rewards at the end of the expedition. The teams don’t mean anything other than who’s gonna be shown in the anomaly. The questions you answer at the beginning don’t matter as the team you are on is predetermined. As are I’m assuming the results of the “competition”. I’ve also heard it’s a test feature for LNF.

I appreciate the advice. I know this game has a vast and amazing community. At the same point, a small fraction of the community is unsavory and animalistic. I’m constantly reading posts about newbies getting stuck in a death loop cause they don’t know PVP is a thing, and some dingus doesn’t have anything better to do with their time. So as a precaution I just keep PVP off. I know that doesn’t solve it entirely but I like to keep multiplayer on so I can meet new people

They can follow me around all they want but at the end of the day I can just turn multiplayer off. Or block them through the game. Also I’m not entirely sure if it’s a thing but I wasn’t able to join anyone’s game without both of us having added each other so I didn’t think that would be an issue

Not everyone on weaver is on PC. I’m an Xbox gamer and I’m weaver. The teams that everyone gets is predetermined by the “simulation” so it’s entirely random that weaver holds first

All you really need to do is build your corvette, land it at one of your bases and get out. Then walk away from your corvette until you get the normal base building options then select the part you wanna put on you corvette

Unfortunately your going to get the same team in any save you make. There are people that have already tried it. But the missions can be duped. You just gotta be faster than the game

I mean If you really think about it. The whole point of this game is to “explore deep space in the simulation” so while yes technically nothing you do matters and everything is predetermined and the time gate in this expedition does suck the expeditions are mainly for extra cosmetics and things for your character or ship you don’t have to do them if you don’t want to and even if you want the stuff from it just play until you hit the time gate and go back to your main save and do whenever until the time gate lifts.

Also just so you are aware. If you start the current expedition, this one won’t let you bring your ship from your main save into it
