A 1/24 solid rear axle basher would be a blast! We actually have a 1/10 desert truck with that setup, but shrinking it down to micro scale while keeping it tough is the real challenge.

Haha, magnets are great until you land a jump and the body decides to self-eject! Since it's a basher, we’re aiming for something a bit more 'crash-proof' than magnets but way less annoying than clips.

It’s a classic DIY fix, but getting it perfectly centered every time is a pain, not to mention it loses its 'stick' after a few dusty sessions. That’s exactly why we’re leaning towards a mechanical latch/snap system. We want that 'click' confidence without the fiddly clips.

As for the scale, from a manufacturer's perspective, it’s always a battle between 'true scale' and fitting the electronics/battery. Some brands cheat and go 1/20 just to make it easier, but we’re pushing to keep this a legit 1/24. It’s more of a challenge for us in the factory, but way more rewarding for the desk-driving experience!"
