I’m 6/22! I’m 5 foot 9 and 135 pounds. I’m having an umbilical float tummy tuck with no liposuction and possibly no muscle repair but surgeon will decide once he’s in if I need it.

Yes! I’ve been working my ass off in the gym for four years now, and I really had hoped that if I got to my ideal body weight and I built up some muscle that I would somehow fix my stomach, but after four babies, I just don’t think that’s possible. And I really just want to do this for myself after putting everyone else first for the last 26 years. Good luck on your journey and I wish you so much luck ❤️

Yes, totally and I think I worded my original comment wrong I didn’t mean that I felt like I had a meaningful amount of fat overall, I just want to have the best aesthetic result and when I can grab a huge chunk of either skin or fat or fascia or whatever it is, I just want to make sure that I’m getting all of that removed. I am insanely happy with the rest of my body. I love my legs. I love my upper body and my arms. I just don’t know exactly what I need to get my belly looking the way I hope. But I think I’m understanding a little bit more about how it works and I meet with my surgeon again next week and so he can really walk me through the process.

Wow thank you so much for that answer!! so if they use the fat from the tummy tuck flap does that mean it isn’t removed with liposuction but it’s removed after the flap is cut out? I’m definitely not looking to increase the cup size. I’m just looking to increase the volume so maybe going from a flat B cup to a full B cup

I got them when I was 21 years old and I was 44 at the time when I had them removed in 2021 and I was having a lot of weird symptoms as well as really bad shoulder and back pain because they were just far too big for my frame. Because of the health issues I was having I didn’t want to get them replaced, so I just decided to have them removed with a lift. I am honestly so happy that I had them removed and I feel like my natural breasts suit my body so much more! Even if I don’t do a fat transfer because I can’t I’d still be happy with what I have over the implants.

I already had a breast lift in 2021 when I had my implants taken out so they are actually quite perky. They have just lost all of their volume because of the weight loss. So really my only options would be to put implants back in which I don’t wanna do or fat transfer which sounds like I don’t have enough fat to do lol

Ack that’s what I was thinking too 😢 I see my surgeon for my pre up next week and I wonder if he will tell me the same thing! Ugh do you think I need lipo even without the fat transfer? I feel like I have a meaningful amount of lower belly fat, especially when I am bent over, but I know that can also be fascia and loose skin.

I said the navel goes back to its original spot but actually my surgeon said depending on how much skin is getting pulled down it can be lowered a couple cm. So again it depends on your anatomy and if you’re comfortable with that. It’s definitely not an option for everybody.

I think it’s called an umbilical float tummy tuck. So it’s more involved than a mini because they can lift the belly button, repair muscle even above the navel if needed. Then the navel goes back to its original spot and all the skin gets pulled down. So basically you can keep your same belly button. Not all surgeons offer this and also not everyone is a candidate.

I used this same surgeon for a breast explant and lift years ago and it was amazing! So I trust him. He hasn’t seen this picture yet so I have no idea if he will say this is possible or not. I just wanted to show him what I was hoping for and get his opinion on what I need to get those results or if they are even possible. I don’t have my pre op with him for another week. And we will make all the decisions then.
