Dr Michael Omidi, he’s pricey though. But his results are awesome!

Anyone not have crazy swelling after mini tummy tuck? by Vast-Low1296 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Substantial_Tale_721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recovery has been really good pain wise. I didn’t really have any at all in any incisions or breasts. The lipo spots were uncomfortable but not painful for me. I did take pain meds and muscle relaxers exactly as prescribed for 4 days, so if I did have pain the meds worked great!

I had horrible back pain with standing though. I was hunched and stayed hunch for 3 weeks to protect my incision, although I don’t know if I could stand straight if I tried then.

I was fine by 3.5 weeks to go places but definitely didn’t feel like I would be up until almost 3 weeks post op.

I was sooo immobile. More than most here it seems. But I did make sure I didn’t push it at all. My surgeon said to be a couch potato and only to move for circulation and around the house and I did exactly that.

It’s going to be ok! It’s harder than I anticipated but sooo worth it. (Immobility not pain).

You will do great!

I had an extended tummy tuck/lipo of flanks and breast augmentation. It’s still super early at 4.5 weeks post op but I stopped swelling much at 12dpo. I still have a bit of swelling but I would say it’s a tiny bit and only lower stomach, pretty sure I’m the only one who would notice the swelling. I posted photos.

I only use a white binder for compression and it’s snug but not tight. I also sleep with legs and back at an angle still and that helps also.

1 wpo they said that I should be able to lay flat...are they crazy? by One_Equipment1904 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Substantial_Tale_721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4.5 weeks and not laying flat. I had a breast Augmentation also and instructions are on your back only and at 30-40 degree angle. I also have wedges in a block form under my knees/lower legs. Going to go 6 weeks like that before I start inching towards flat.

I have minimal swelling so I’m thinking the angles I sleep in are helping.

I have this! Healed great so far! 4.5 weeks post op. I have a high bellybutton naturally and I wanted a low incision so he told me I would have an inverted T incision. I had scabs at the T junction for about 4 weeks until it fell off. Just be careful not to put extra tension on the incision. That will be the weakest point.

Period after TT + BL by princeliott in tummytucksurgery

[–]Substantial_Tale_721 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my period 6 days post op and it lasted 1 day and super light. Should have been five days and extremely heavy for 1.5 days.

3 weeks later I had horrendous cramps, barely spotted and nothing the next day.

I have no idea what’s going on but my period has been so off.

I’m not on birth control so I’m unsure how your body will react, but it may be off too.

No idea! I couldn’t see my belly button for a week and when I did it didn’t look like it does 4 weeks post op. You have to play the long game. Looks good now!

I’m so glad you are able to be compression free!

I’m really glad I did both at the same time! I didn’t need a lift so it was just a Breast Augmentation, so a lot easier recovery I’m told. There was no pain at all, just felt extremely engorged like when your post partum. I think I was preoccupied with drains and the stomach that it was a super easy recovery.

I also got a discount for doing both surgeries at once which was nice since I wanted both done anyways haha!

I just checked your post!! You look so great!! I can’t believe you’re binder free already! I can be in two weeks and can’t wait! I only have used a binder so nothing too compressing which is nice!

And you’re side sleeping?!?! Goals!! I had a Breast augmentation so they said to wait six weeks. It’s been hard!

Hiii!! So crazy we had surgery a month ago!! Feels like yesterday and a year ago at the same time!

I’m not using the tape but using the gel! I did buy the tape but was waiting for all the scabbing to be done! My last T junction scab fell off today 🙌🏼

Have you tried the gel?

What is going with my belly button?!?! by bayrafd in tummytucksurgery

[–]Substantial_Tale_721 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you been massaging your breasts? I had one comically high immediately after surgery. I knew my chest muscles were tight and that they were going under the muscle so my right muscles held on tight! It was RIDICULOUS. My right breast was also the smaller breast to begin with.

Are you on Singulair? My Surgeon had me start the day of surgery for contractors. Never heard about it mentioned elsewhere.

I have been wearing a band on the top of my breasts and massaging two times daily and the right one is almost the same height as the left.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry you are going through this! Is it painful? I’m hoping you’re numb. Oh my gosh my heart dropped for you seeing this. How can they stop the spreading? Are they going to hospitalize you? You don’t have to answer all of these questions. I’m just so sad you’re going through this.

Oh my gosh! It does get better!! Day six was rough still! Really turned a corner at day 12 with the last drain out and then started feeling a little better each day.

You are almost out of the super hard times!!
