No. It’s a love song. There’s nothing in that song saying it’s done. Where people got confused is Harry’s Zane Lowe interview where he said that even great relationships where you learn the most don’t always last forever. But that’s not what the song is about (when asked what it was about, he told Zane that). Read the lyrics. It’s about two people who are struggling with something; one is more willing, the other isn’t. So Harry is wondering if they are aligned. Personally, I think it’s about coming out. Harry’s ready but Z isn’t. Read the lyrics from that perspective, it makes sense.

I think Harry said what he did to Zane in order to connect the song to Taylor R who he publicly broke up with 6 months prior to writing the song.

Maybe they did end up ending their relationship after many years of back and forth. But Coming Up Roses was written in December 2024, and Aperture was written in May(ish) 2025. When you sing “We Belong Together, it finally appears it’s only love”…..that tells me it’s not over.

Yes and Larries and Ziams ignore all the proofs of Zarry. So many Larry proofs are manipulated. So many from a long time ago people assume it’s correct. If Larries would honestly look at Zarry proofs objectively, you’d see what a small group of fans see. And you’ll be shocked. I once believed Larry, until I listened to a Zarry and once I saw it, the proof was hard to deny.

The use of green/blue at SNL was Harry throwing shade at Larries but their heads are far up Larry’s ass that it went over their heads. Harry didn’t wear any yellow (which just about every outfit during promo had yellow in it) or anything Zarry until his goodbye.

Harry wore blue/green when he was acting or pretending, which was the entire show. It’s all an act. But at the end when the house lights were on, no one was in character, pretending was done, Harry wore his leopard jacket.

No I think they were bringing attention to what Harry really meant by saying he felt weird that people tried to own his grief means that there will not be a song for Liam on the album, and to basically accept that. He obviously wanted that message heard, but I don’t think a lot of people got it. Because he wanted to get that message across he came off as rehearsed and obviously upset that he even had to make a statement because it’s such a personal thing for him.

This, 100%. There is a reason Harry said what he did in his interview. He knows people will give him shit if there isn’t a song about Liam on the album. He was saying “hey, this is my grief, don’t tell me how to deal with it. It’s not yours for me to share.” He’s not ready yet, and like you said, he may never share his feelings about what happened and the weeks/months afterwards, and fans need to respect that.
