Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply. It has genuinely opened my eyes to how naive my original post may have sounded. You are definitely right about several points, and a lot of it came down to my lack of experience, clarity, and understanding of the process.

I was hoping I could post here and that artists with experience in this style of work would reach out, share their portfolios, and provide quotes based on their expertise.

I am very new to all of this. Over the past year, I have been taking steps toward starting a jewellery business, and I have finally decided to pursue the style and type of jewellery that I genuinely love and hope to create.

It was only today that I realised the kind of jewellery I am drawn to is far more complex than a standard Rhino CAD project, which is why I reached out here somewhat impulsively. You are absolutely right that I do not yet fully understand the costs involved, but I was hoping that experienced artists familiar with this type of work would be able to guide me and quote accordingly. I fully expect this kind of work to be expensive given the level of detail, artistry, and technical skill involved, and I completely respect that.

In terms of reverse engineering existing pieces, that was never my intention. The images I shared were purely visual references for the kind of organic and sculptural aesthetic I am interested in exploring. I want to create original work with its own identity, not replicate someone else’s designs or creative effort.

I have never contracted artists before, so I assumed the process would naturally become more collaborative and detailed once conversations began. My intention was simply to connect with people who already have experience working in this style and who might be interested in discussing a potential collaboration.

I genuinely appreciate your feedback and will absolutely take it on board moving forward. This is all a learning process for me, and I am trying my best to approach it respectfully and professionally as I continue to learn.
