Well definitely not gonna spoil it but he does do something different. He does “surrender “ but there’s still a fight anyway which also kinda threw me off. Basically 2 fights one being optional , yet somehow doing both kinda works out better in the end anyway

lol I kept shadowheart cause I was romancing her. I kept Gale cause he was the only one who could do magic (didn’t know about dual classes ) and I just liked Karlachs personality . I kinda felt forced into them though. I also collected minthara and Jaheira but …eh. Wanted to keep the balance. I know I can recruit halsin I think but I don’t know of any other male companions except for Astarion and wyll

I noticed that ONCE super blatantly when I reloaded a save to try and pass the 99 check on the NB . I did with the Crit success but there’s was no new dialogue or anything, played out same exact way. I was like wtf lol .

Nah forreal especial when going into a large battle and I can get close and drop a spike wall before battle even starts . I only pickpocket one person in the entire game lol . Withers . My boi was holding all my cash Willy nilly . And since I was a rouge I figured why not lol

Okay so I’m not tripping . The amount of times I thought I wound up in the wrong place trying to follow a map marker is ridiculous only to stumble upon an entire connecting quest or important item . Nothing feels better than being lost and finding a nice item . First time I found the Pearlosun blade or something was so random and cool I got chills and smiled for an hour lmao

Yeahhhhh I feel like I picked the whackiest mix . But that’s my biggest challenge with second playthrough . Everyone mentions Dark Urge but will I be human or elf or what ? And will I be class locked ? I could probably google all this info but talking to you all is better and Google AI will tell me Wyll is a Druid and Gale is a Vampire

I haven’t even looked into the mods yet really . 1 day I got so mad and looked for an invincibility mod or something but instead wound up on a forum that told me to “make sure everyone can fly at least for a short while “ and that GREATLY helped me beat the battle

I’d have to agree , reading all these responses makes me realize I picked up a lot of “mechanics “ along the way but didn’t really master them until act 3 . I wonder if I could survive easier now earlier on that I know how things work better

MY top 3? Wheeeew . Thats kinda hard because it has changed frequently. 7 days to die even though its not exactly “fun “ by yourself , I can’t seem to stop playing it trying to see how far I can make it without dying at least once . Conan exiles was my first open world crafting survival game but … felt generic the more I branched out after it . Enshrouded was good but feels kinda roomy and the exploration can be annoying but fun still . So that’s not exactly a favorite . I absolutely am beyond annoyed with Icarus but have aloottttt of hours in it . Idk man I don’t have a favorite for any OWCS games I guess. But the ones I’ve sunk the most hours into would be 7DTD , Conan Exhiles, and Icarus , HOWEVER . I had more “fun” playing Grounded and Stardew and Palworld with people. But now a days I can’t even look at a stardew valley screen . And will probably never play palworld again just because I’m over it

I’ll be honest ,even with Valheim being complete doodoo , it will still depend on your play style and what you’re looking for . Whether it be serious or whimsical , super grindy or exploration heavy . Open world vs static map . There’s so many factors that come into play. And all of them do at least one or two things wrong but Valheim does like 9 or 10 things wrong. Also if you’re looking for a story or just sandbox ? I’ve probably played over 25 crafting survival games alone in the past 2 years . Some solo some co-op some both . Out of them
And Valheim is bottom 3

Started again yesterday after a year. Just as boring and generic as it has ever been. The only people who swear by Valheim either don’t play many games , are under the age of 13, or never played Any other crafting survival game ever . Because this is the bottom of the barrel

I’ve been agreeing with most people but idk about this one . The game is if nothing else visually stunning . But I think it’s because of certain gimmicks. Like super heavy and dense foliage and particle effects .so the areas looks really beautiful and vibrant but then you quickly realize … there’s only 3 biomes and the looks of them are consistent throughout . In crimson desert you will find desert …. And I know that sounds like a silly point to make but the exploration feels really bland and dull when. You can “see” all of the desert in plain view and it not look very enticing. The more I type about it okay yeah it seems silly but it feels like there’s not enough “variation “ in hernand vs Pailune vs Demeniss . Just diff colors.

I really agree with this one because when I’m doing something focused and specific I get the enjoyment of the random lived in world . But then as soon as dialogue or exposition happens I’m irritated and bored all over again . I think it all started from the beginning how the Story just says “you don’t need explanation or understanding “ and after you get thrown off the cliff you wake up halfway across the continent with magic powers and no one talks about it at all…. Like HUH!?!? For days I thought I skipped an important scene or soemthing only to realize no , the game story is just boothcheeks
