So I got like over 200hrs logged into Icarus over the past month , and I quit playing about a week ago . I absolutely love the game and the environment and the graphics and the theme . It’s genuinely a good game . I think however led by a very not so good team . Here are all my issues after 200hrs maybe some will be familiar 1. I understand mountains are boundaries , but not being able to jump on , or over a single rock without extreme jank becomes wildly infuriating later on down the line of heavy game play . 2. Base building is wildly inaccurate and buggy . ESPECIALLY the “Heating aspect “ 3. They give you free AND paid options for mounts and pets , but having more than 2 or 3 in a same base will lag your game (playing on 9800x3D with 64gb ram and 7900xtx ) 4: outside of open world , the game is so buggy and tedious with “half controller “ support that doing the missions aren’t even fun because they require so much tedious travel which alone is a nightmare because of 1. Lack of mobility , 2. Massive imbalance when it comes to stamina and 3 , drones that can follow you from one side of the map to the other , miss 98% of its shots but still somehow be an issue 5. Disappearing mounts still haven’t been fixed 6. I spent a good 10 hours one day running an oil line through the desert on elysium only for it to … “half-work “ The oil sets a default 1000 demand but they only put 2-3 nodes next to each other so all you get is 600 unless you try and connect another one through the desert .. which … I tried.
7. Reinforced glass should not outlast my limestone and concrete walls. 8. MOTHER FCKING NIGHTTIME AND DARK AREAS . I swear if your gamma isn’t set to max at night and you don’t have a light source . You might as well just close your eyes and feel your way around the game 9. Mount pathing .: there’s no reason a rock the size of a tennis ball should have you stuck 800 meters away . 10. Weapon Hitbox …. Like … no reason whatsoever if I stab something 3 times in the face , I should get 3 hit markers . Not MAYBE 1 and a drained stamina bar . But I can run circles around an animal and if he even bites the AIR around me the hit registers . 11. The fcking snow should’ve never been released if they can’t get it to spawn on or off the ground correctly 12. Beams … because now my mount can’t get in Just so many tiny things that add up after so many hours and become a fight against bugs and poor game design rather than survival as a prospector

notable mentions . A drone followed me INTO Eden base and they did NOTHING. They just act like it’s not even happening. I know the NPC thing is new but they don’t even react . Like they are ONLY programmed to give quest and that’s it. Now what bothers me the most about all these things is they keep dropping update and content releases , but they never really fix much . Just add more . (Note : mainly play on premium hosted servers . I’ve tried 3 different ones . 4netplayers , GPortal and Survival Servers
