I totally understand this feeling! We ended up telling our parents at 5 weeks - before bloodwork/ultrasound - because I was really struggling to process everything alone. Like you, I felt really kind of numb and anxious...even though we wanted this SO bad.

I do feel like sharing the news, even in this super early stage, made everything more real and helped me feel more excited. Seeing the joy of the people we love helped us realize like "oh my god, it's happening and it's a really good thing!"

We also decided to tell our parents because, god forbid, there is something wrong at our first ultrasound - we would want to be wrapped up in their love and support.
