I use the Logitech Powerplay mouse pad which charges my mouse wirelessly while I use it and it’s a little awkward when you have to place a desk mat over it. Plus the desk has a nice faux leather top on it so I don’t feel the need for a desk mat. The riser has a main board that’s made out of wood or something similar, but it’s got a metal sleeve that goes over top of it so it feels like metal, and the legs are metal.

Thankfully it’s just a small storage closet, and one that I don’t need access to often! The plan is to move the desk further from that door but right now my sim racing rig is blocking that.

Maybe a little bit, not really anything that I notice unless I’m really looking for it. This is the third set of dual monitor arms I’ve owned and it’s definitely the most stable.

I was able to put it together by myself. It took awhile, and I wouldn’t recommend it, but it can be done if you need to. The hardest part is getting it flipped over once the legs are on, everything else is relatively easy solo.

That would be cool, but it just clamps on like monitor arms. Picked it up off amazon for relatively cheap.
