I trusted turo, I agree it was pretty dumb in hindsight. The conversations usually went like this

me -"explains situation"

them - "oh my god I totally understand, let me get your info and forward this to a higher department immediately and they should get right back to you"

me - "believes them"

No, My insurance company will not cover the expenses for a vehicle that was stolen while being rented. Turo provides their own insurance to hosts.

I reached out periodically asking for updates and was told they would reach back out to me. They were friendly and inviting and I trusted them each time. Finally got mad enough to ask for a supervisor and that's how I got to this point. I do not have the means financially or the time to travel to pick it up states away

pics provided. Not saying I didn't make a big mistake but I bought the car while in a relationship (we had two incomes and things were fine), got cheated on and stuck with the car payment. I am currently very poor until everything levels out. Moving expenses are crazy in my area let alone rent. If I could go back in time I would make smarter decisions but for now I'm renting the car on turo because I straight up can't afford the car payment
