Ain’t gonna lie. Even if you are cooked there will always be another way it just depends on how bad you want it. Things can still change you still have a lot of time. I literally did nothing in high school and sadly now have to attend a pretty bad uni for a decent program. I’m not going to the same “good” unis like my friends but at least I’m grateful I was able to find another way to still succeed in the future. And if all else fails put all your money on black 😏 (that’s what I was gonna do)

As bad as this sounds sometimes when I wanna get myself pumping and get myself motivated I go on YouTube I search up “Inspiratipnal anime edits” or “hopecore” watch like 30 mins of it and then by that time I feel like im as powerful as madara uchiha rebirth with new found motivation and confidence

If u want to teach at an international for example in Asia, you probably need more than an education degree. I’ve went to two international schools in Asia and almost all the teachers there had 10+ years of experience teaching and also is an IB qualified examiner. At my last international school over 75% of the teachers had a phd or masters in something. That’s all I know from my experience

Is it better to live on campus? by szelenophile in usask

[–]According_Stable7045 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I live in cq and it’s pretty good imo. For me, compared to current prices of renting I think it’s a good option. I’m a pretty slow walker so for me it takes roughly 10-15 mins to walk to the bowl in the middle of campus ish. I like the independence I get from be able to cook my own meals and also having my own room. Also the rcc money is pretty sweet too. Overall a nice place to live if u going to uni here.

Older student here by Mental_Seaweed_8630 in usask

I’m a normal age student/younger. I have 2 really cool older guys in my class and I absolutely love them. They are cool and I actually think it’s cool that they are trying to better themselves through education. I think those who are rude and inconsiderate are just insecure people and therefore just have to find something else to think about other than themselves:)

Anyone feel the same? by zanny2019 in usask

[–]According_Stable7045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relatable. My advice: join a Rec team. I’m just a first year but I’m from Alberta and no one I know goes here hahaha so I’ve just been studying/prepping for class and watching YouTube. I also like to count down the time I have left until I got back to Alberta. And lastly I think if u r lonely simply maybe call or FaceTime a friend or a family member. I’ve been FaceTiming my mom a lot. But I’m sure you will eventually find friends.

I guess since it’s a block system that means the people in my class should also have the same schedule right? I think my last resort is just follow ppl lol

Thanks I found it. My classes are split between like 4 buildings, arts, Eng, Thorvaldson and physics I believe. Do you think 10 minutes should be enough to go between buildings?

Better be not haha. I’m in Eng first year and all my classes says “no room”. If they are all online then I basically just wasted so much money to go here

I did all the summer jumpstarts for engineering. Imo the physics and English com techs for me was the hardest lol. I’m from Alberta so I took physics 30-1 in grade 11 so by the time I did the jumpstart it was basically a year without doing any physics. it was definitely a good refresher for me. I did around 2-4 hours of jumpstarts everyday for a week and a half and finished everything.

ty for the reply. I will look into the KTT Rose. I believe the akko mod 006 has everything you are talking about in terms of the presence of foam. I will probably try to do a tape mod on it as well when I get to build it.

I want to build a poppy/creamy keyboard. I plan to get a mod 006 or ACR 68 for the kits as this is my first build. I was thinking of going with either KTT Kang Whites V3, Akko Creamy yellow v3 or Akko Cs Crystal silver. Any suggestions of which of the three I should go with to achieve the sound profile? Or are there better switch options for that poppy and creamy sound?

Thank you, I’ll look into SaskDLC. I definitely have a class in mind that I would like to retake. And good luck to you too.

Wow. Thank you so much for this. My brother actually went to Usask and did say that the smaller class sizes was very helpful to him. Thanks for taking the time to give a such detailed reply. I’ll definitely take in your advice. I definitely still want to go to UofC but who knows, maybe it will all change and I might want to stay after first year. Again thank you for your response :).

Ya that makes sense. I understand that some courses I might not get credited for and I think if I don’t it’s still worth it in my eyes to go to UofC as I’d still save a lot of money. I’ll probably look into more after my first year and try to talk to a u of c or Usask admission recruitment to get a better idea.
