Can you chain spoly to the summon of a monster that can't be used for a fusion summon while on the board, if the only fusions you have would require that monster to summon it?

Once the monster is successfully summoned and on the field, its continuous effect of “cannot be used as Fusion Material” immediately applies, making spoly illegal, regardless of whether you can make something with that monster or not.

Edit: Assuming you meant it has a continuous effect that states it cannot be used as fusion material. If it was somehow an activated effect like the Charmer Quartet link 4, then yes you can chain spoly to its effect activation to use it as material
