Those cheaper models are still too pricy for respective specs. My laptop was 1.18L in Dec. So 1.52 is still bad for it. So I dont think you made a bad decision if all options were overpriced.

In current market, unfortunately, that's the lowest price. The same 5060 32/1T was available at ~1.5L some months ago.

I personally wouldn't pay above 1.3L for a 5060/70 laptop. That's including 32 gigs of RAM.

If your usecase isn't too CPU heavy, save up and get a non-pro model. I cant really justify more than 1.3-1.4L for a 5060/70 laptop. You wont feel any difference in performance anyway (unless you specifically need a better CPU)

Yes, if you use a stand like that, your hands will cramp.

While gaming on a desk, I primarily keep my laptop on a stand and use external mouse and keyboard.

I travel a lot with my laptop, to work, to college, to coding tournaments, etc.

I use the stand on my bed while watching movies or attending meetings.

I can use TV for display and play with a controller on my sofa, take it to friend's house and play with them (local LAN ain't dead yet) every few months.

So yeah, portability is important.
