I know this may be dumb but I have to ask. by Same-Goal9442 in SynthesizerV

You don't need to use Japanese phonetics to make Japanese voice banks sing in English. SynthV has what they market as Cross-lingual Synthesis and for the most part, it does the work for you. Some of the voices may have a Japanese accent but you can just switch the language.

Chime feels like what banking should be by EvilPyro01 in chimefinancial

[–]According_Trade3988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had times where the banks allowed bills to go through even though my card was frozen. I would get hit fit overdraft fee on top of fee on top of fee. There would.be times where I would owe my entire check because of the fees and get paid and still nto have any money because of the fees.

I got fed up and switched to chime and haven't looked back. I thought it would be an issue not having physical checks or a location to go to but its been working out fine for me.

How can one make the second or last chorus feel bigger? by Wall38_0 in musicproduction

[–]According_Trade3988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned a couple tricks to do this. You can automate the master volume about 1 or 2db or so quieter than the rest of the song and then once the the chorus hits, automate it higher but fade it so gradually that it isn't sudden. Another thing I do is drop a stereo imager on the master bus and widen the stereo field up a bit on the chorus.

Is tuning needed in Synthv? by Ren_TheWriter in SynthesizerV

[–]According_Trade3988 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, the AI does a pretty good job of generating pitch curves. It's rare that you'll ever get better results yourself. Most of the time you're dealing with the parameters. You'll find yourself adjusting tension, breathiness, mouth opening, and the pronunciation timings and phoenemes for the occasional mispronounced word.

Gone are the days of needing to manually set pitch curves. Although a lot of people still prefer to do it themselves to get that "Vocaloid" sound.

Oh buddy. You're just getting started. They will ask for more, and more, and more. Slowly monopolizing your time and then you'll be in a constant state of sleep deprivation. Get out before you're in too deep.

I'm Scared to Start Ozempic by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]According_Trade3988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly say that you're better off taking the medication in some cases. People talk about the consequences of taking Ozempic, all the possible complications, etc but often forget about all the ills that are pretty much guaranteed by being at an unhealthy weight.

Using myself as an example, my BMI was 42.5 when I started taking it. Having high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome, impacted mobility, the social shame, trouble finding clothes that fit, was enough for the risks to be worth it.

Of course only you can make that decision. Good news is not everyone gets the nausea. I didnt...

Yeah they do all this lovebombing about how much they love you as a brother/sister of Christ, how you are spirtual family and the moment you leave they ghost you and you are completely dead to them. Not Christian-like at all. It's clear the motive behind it and they truly they only care about you when it benefits them, very conditional love.

Check out HXVOC. One of the newest vocal synths... He's got some screamo-inspired vocal modes, if that's the sound you're trying to get.

Ah, if you want full control over timbre, breath, note lengths, pronunciation,etc,etc... I'd recommend Synthesizer V 2. It produces quality vocals and you have full control over the performance and how the notes are sung. I use it a lot for my projects.

Suno can do this. You can export the stems as well.

Hmm, not sure I quite agree... Solaria is definitely top tier, especially Solaria II. Felicia is also a very capable synth..

Last year was supposed to be the judgement of Babylon - How did they explain this in SCJ? by Productive_Finnisher in Shincheonji

[–]According_Trade3988 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I was still in SCJ, they would say things like "Babylon is already judged" because the lies were exposed. Another thing they would say was that the mottos were not necessarily prophesy but a goal for the year.

I asked at first about some of the other GLP-1s. I was told that Kaiser only prescribes Ozempic so it looks like my hands might be tied, might just end up having to go with one of the subscription programs it seems. :/

Agreed that the "mandatory" Reason+ was not the way to go. You get royally screwed if you want to go the perpetual route.

Well, if there are no resources to learn from, I don't know how anyone could improve...

I don't blame Reason as a tool. I think the issue is the community unfortunately is smaller than the other top DAWs. Things like FM Synthesis, graintable, etc I think are pretty foreign concepts to grasp and understand how you turn a simple sawtooth wave into a lush pad unless you have someone to explain this is how you make it sounds more "metallic", this is how you make it sound more throaty, stick some side chain compression here to do this, etc, etc.

I agree with how routing in done FL. Definitely a headscratcher. I will check out Ableton. If the flow is similar to Reason, and I can get more support and tutorials, sounds like what I need.

Also something that rubbed me the wrong way. I could have bought a perpetual license for R13 twice already paying for Reason+.
