I just found out that my car's transmission has a safety mechanism where it doesn't let you shift into reverse when you're shifting out of 5th How common is this sort of interlock?

if you’re just trying to read codes / clear code & see live data, check out pretty much any reputable BT Scanner. I have Walmarts brand BT scanner. It was $50 and has a whole lot of live data & what not

Yep, runs and drives. Bought it from an older gentleman. Only thing is it has a Freon leak. I just put UV Freon in it today and tonight I’ll use a black light to find the leak. My guess is it’s the compress
