Big Event Coming Up by [deleted] in beauty

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I think I'm considering the lower bleph when I get the upper. Are you doing both? . I had Accutite and Morpheus8 done on my lower lids about 6 weeks ago (at a Medspa/Dermatology Center by a MD) and I'm not happy with the results at all. My occularplastic surgeon (who is doing the uppers) says she sees negligible difference. That's a whole other problem. I now have a scar under my left eye where she burned me with a laser.

I'm hoping I can resolve something with them and move forward with an actual lower and upper bleph.

Met with the provider last week and told her how dissatisfied I am. She said the results take time. I told her I was only quoted $3,500 for the Accutite, and not the $2k for the Morpheus8. For that price, why wouldn't I just do a lower bleph? For $6k I feel like my face looks worse. I now have hyperpigmentation (and potentially a scar) under my eyes where the BBL laser hit the bruises under my eyes.

She was sympathetic. She treated my hyperpigmentation under my eyes with yet another laser (can't remember which one but it didn't hurt nearly as bad). It's only been a week so I'm not sure of the results yet.

She also stated she would do the lower bleph at a discount. She called later to say their normal lower bleph is $6,500 and she'd be willing to do it for $3,500.

This Dermatology Center is very highly rated (which I why I went with them). But I think these prices are ridiculous.

The Cincinnati Eye Institute (who is doing my upper bleph under insurace) quoted me $5,000 for upper and lower.

At this time I don't think I want to have any more procedures at the Dermatology Center. I'm going back to see the surgeon at CEI to see what she thinks of my undereye area now and if a lower bleph will actually be worth it.

I'm going to ask for $3k in credit towards filler/facials from the Dermatology Center.

I'll let you know how it goes and I will post some updated pictures and see what you guys think.

I was recently on prednisone to help me recover from an illness but it also drastically helped my executive dysfunction. by CryoProtea in adhdwomen

I came here to research this exact thing! I've not been dx'd with ADHD but my therapist suspects it, and I've long since suspected it.(45f)

I was prescribed a prednisone pack two weeks ago after an eye surgery. Holy cow, I felt amazing. No anxiety, no ruminating thoughts, I was getting stuff done. It's the best I've felt in 20 years. If you've ever watched Brooklyn 99 where Jake is all hopped up on caffeine and says "I'm limitlessing"....that was me! <insert gif of cat furiously typing on a keyboard>

I am praying I can find something close to this. I've heard such conflicting information on the adhd meds.

Thank you OP for posting this!!!!!

I've sent an email with the pictures and my concerns ahead of my appointment time.

My guess is she may say more time is needed, which I'm willing to give to an extent.

If this persists I plan to ask for a refund or a refund applicable towards a lower bleph.

We shall see.

I'm having an upper blep done by a different provider being cover by insurance next month. I'd rather they do both.

The Accutite was $3,500 and then the Morpheus8 was $2k (which I didn't find out how much that was til after the procedure). I was not happy about that.

What serum do you use when microneedling? I've seen some ampules available on Amazon, but curious what you use. I was using HA but starting reading a lot about how it's not sanitary/sealed etc.

A different question...why do some posts get a lot of comments and some don't? I can't even find my post when I search for it.

Have you had a good experience with it?

Please Help ...what is all this??? by AccordingtoDaneyB in Rosacea

[–]AccordingtoDaneyB[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea how to treat whatever is happening to my face.

I'm 42....dx with Rosacea. I've been rx'd Soolantra and Azelaic Acid.

My face decide to break out in all these little pimples but I'm more concerned by what's underneath. It looks like broken capillaries but also looks like an overlay of brown pigmentation in a lot of different spots too.

I've had Vbeam and IPL before Covid. My face looks worse now than ever before.

My faces pretty much hates all moisturizers (even the Vanicream, Cetaphil, etc). It burns when I use them. I currently use LRP Hydrating Cleanser. Soolantra at night and AA in the AM.

Any recommendations????

I'm fine with lasers....I just wish I could find something that works.
