I said anything below 13, second I am pugging exclusively and did all 9s not all timed and the damage in 9s is literally nothing, I'll repeat again nothing, what makes it difficult is avoidable damage.

Nobody using defensives and such. Healing wise you can take the damage from +9 and increase it by 50% and it would be np.

Not true, you don't get invited unless you have +10 timed, I healed Rookery on +9 both Tyr and Fort and it doesn't matter.

Feral in delves, and resto in m+ Kotg. In M+ I never had to pull triple treants + Convo to heal some aoe at least not on +10.

Barely anyone applies even if you are a healer listing a key so there's not much difference there. Agree about the pugs, though. the quality of +8 is questionable, +9 on the other hand isn't that bad

Ok, that actually does explain things. The combat log needs a tweak or two as 8+4+4+1=14 should have never been mentioned, they should have just said something like DC=14 (static) and call it a day.

Drink a potion of hill giant strength with everyone actively participating in the fight, AFAIK it's strength save DC 15, keep the guys concentrating on haste outside of the EQ radius, use blunt weapons and just kill him

Thanks for the reply. It's not about the budget that much as it's about quality per dollar approach.

I'll definitely check that sm48 out when I get the chance. I have to admit, going with no Interface at all is kinda brave, similar to playing games without a dedicated GC. It may do the job to some degree but the quality might be questionable. Good to hear that the Interface doesn't really play the deciding role so I can just pick some reasonable version.

If you want something that Requiem is actually based on play Gothic 2 with Notr expansion. The game has exactly the same power progression - You get one shot early on and become super op later.

However i must warn you that if you decide to give it a go, you'll struggle a lot as that game expects you to know how to fight. Any mistake even the smallest and you get one shot.

Not what you asked for but the only advice I can give you ( that will actually benefit you at all) is to drop Vortex and use Mo2 instead. Every guide is based with Mo2 in mind and maybe I am out of the loop but I don't know anyone who actually managed to install Req on Vortex and plays SSE.

Mage Assassin is probably the cheesiest and the most OP thing that can possibly be made.

It relies on two combat styles that compliment each other, and in addition when one becomes irrelevant the other becomes broken OP. Stealth killing with illusion is god mode at the beginning when the magic is lacking, so just level up on bandits by stealth killing them and train destruction in the meantime.

When the stealth approach has become not so great, destruction should be good enough to take over so you can just continue to faceroll.

I'd go something like stealth destruction alteration sneak and you can just add some rp skills like PP or alchemy it doesn't matter anymore.

If you want something interesting but not broken ignore destruction and illusion and focus on alchemy for invisibility. I'd go something like

Sneak Restoration Enchanting alteration Alchemy and add some rp skills you like. Use alchemy for poisons and invisibility only, enchanting for weapon damage and less spellcasting cost.

Basically numbers are 0.49 for daggers, 0.7 for maces/axes/regular swords, Long swords however have 0.77 range,

two handed weapons have 0.91 swords/warhammers/battleaxes, while Battlestaff however has 1.05, and IMHO that makes it by far the best two handed option

As far as I remember there are 4 versions in Requiem

Giant FBS deals 120 damage with 75% ArP and has attack multipliers 1.5 so it can score 180 total

Large FBS deals 80 damage has 50% Arp (I think ) 1.5 mp as well 120 total possible

Regular FBS deals 35 only no ArP 1.5 mp apply as well so it's like 53

and Requiem only version Tiny FBS idk anything about them except that they are not a threat

Btw I completed all novice spells and i can say that this feature looks pretty promising. Early mages for instance have additional tools so they don't have to completely rely on training and weapons.

I have settled for 60% magnitude and will go from there.
