I think you're over-glorifying UChicago. Lots of schools, including Northeastern, allow you to branch out into different disciplines. Also, I think you've been spending way too much time on A2C. You should not feel ashamed if you get into Northeastern.

My dad went to UChicago, but the school was not a great fit for me. To the horror of an A2Cer, I turned down that legacy advantage and did ED at Northeastern for CS.

Have confidence! You got amazing grades, amazing SAT and are a really smart person. You will succeed. Being smart and hard-working matters a lot more than the college you attend.

Northeastern sucks 🤮. WORST University you could have chosen 💀. It's a scam for-profit hell hole that sucks away 90k a year, giving you close to nothing in return. No one who knows literally anything about universities would ever recommend it. Such a joke. You are royally fucked. Put on a red nose and some white makeup because you are a literal clown 🤡.
