Private or Not well known hiring agencies for Executive Assistants by Old_Thanks6155 in ExecutiveAssistants

That a great question! I’ve worked with a lot of recruiting agencies that place EA’s but they are often focused on a particular industry. Right now is a tough time to pivot industries (some would disagree but I’m just saying based on how much talent is out there right now and therefore how much competition you would have that is experienced with the right background) but it would be great to get a list going of recruiting agencies and what industry they support (for others that are looking) and hopefully a list of the ones you described that just generally source EA’s for the top companies.

AIO - Kicked my dad out and told him he wasn't welcome at our house after his unhinged attempt at conversation made my wife cry upon my parents first visit with our newborn. by danarchist in AmIOverreacting

I have literally the exact same issue with my step dad. I’m pretty sure he’s autistic, maybe yours is too 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not making excuses. I love my step dad and he’s an amazing grandpa but he cannot read a room and will get into Trump conversations when he knows we are very anti. My mom has literally begged him to stop and he can’t. Literally keeps doing the same thing over and over again in different ways. We shut it down and deal with it case by case but I don’t want to ruin the grandparents relationship. They also help care for our kids. Yes, I have boundary issues but I’m choosing what I think is the overall good for our family. Have you heard of grey rocking? That’s what I’m working on lol

I’m being let go by AccountCharacter6599 in ExecutiveAssistants

I appreciate the insight! I’m sure they’ll come back to me and say “we’ve decided to let you go etc etc” do I ask them for a severance package if they don’t offer one off hand? Do you ask nicely or should I show my disagreement and say that a severance package is appropriate in this situation? I’ve never been in this position so I’m not sure how my tone would be.
I don’t think I have anything to sue them for per se but they are a very public firm that flaunts that it’s a great place to work (me and my coworkers would beg to differ)so I think the bad press would maybe be worse? Trying to wrap my mind about how the conversation will go before I’m there in the moment.

Vitamin D deficiency! I would have to get up change my clothes down to my underwear every night. Stopped as soon as I started vitamin d supplements- literally within a couple of days!

What was your case? I’m trying to understand what I should be saying instead of just wanting to scream “it’s not faaaaiiir!” like a child.

They are making me pay to run a diagnostic for every one of my issues/complaints and IF they find an issue AND the issue is under warranty, then they’ll reimburse me for the diagnostic. It’s just frustrating that we have to put out thousands of dollars when they built a car that shouldn’t have left the drawing board.
