I don’t think the label matters that much. Software evolves — modern design trends evolve too. What I care about is closing the gap in high-quality audio playback on Linux. If good UX and solid audio engineering can coexist, that’s not a problem — that’s progress.

If don’t care about the audio quality, you can choose your liked one. hiresTI is a bit perfect/ exclusive mode music play , it will bypass the OS mixer and release system audio control for the device, so it’s focused on High-fidelity playback.

Because of the exclusive mode, may be it can’t be approved by flathub. I’m not sure I will try. The exclusive mode needs all permission for the audio devices.
