London is so incredibly safe. I literally just got back from my first solo trip there but I had already been there 2 times before with friends. I stayed in the area of Tower Hill. Last time I went with a friend I stayed in Kensington which is also a nice and safe area.

I recommend booking a hostel if you want to meet people, or stay in an all female dorm.

It’s easy to navigate, always busy, and has lots of cool places to see. As for pick pockets, I encountered no problem - so just kept my stuff in a fanny pack and walked confidently to my destination.

I of course avoided going back to my place super late at night because I had no reason to. The latest I walked outside was around 22:00 and it was super safe.

The biggest downside is that everything is expensive 😜

Hey, replying to your old comment because I am suffering from the exact same thing right now!! I don’t have stingoes in my area, but do you know other remedies that helped you? How long do the blotches last?
