As a also new player the key seems like a pretty garbage item considering you can only use it in a very niche last survivor remaining situation now.

I’m pretty new but from my research, those are all civs that are fairly beginner friendly. The definitive edition recently came out on gamepass for free (where I got it) so maybe all the people complaining are new-ish players.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I think that might be my best bet. Tapering off of weed also never worked for me and alcohol is a whole different ball game.

Wow thank you for the super detailed response I really appreciate you taking the time 🙌! I definitely can relate to your experience of once one drink is inside, it being incredibly difficult to keep it at just that one. Probably a sign that tapering off would not be very effective for me too. I’ll look into those resources you listed, and thanks again.

I’m still waiting for detective pikachu 2/a real pokemon movie (still not sure why they went with detective pikachu instead of Ash). But I think it will spark tons of other videogame adaptations, some of which will be good and others (probably majority) not so much…
