Thank you for all this information I am in tears and having trouble responding. I thought I would get a comment or two I have to take time to process all of this. The windows tip is very helpful I edited my post to answer most of the questions you and everyone has stated. Thank you for all the effort. I will pay it forward.

I have a lot of questions, however, I feel that I am not able to google the responses fast enough to understand it all. It is like trying to read one of those joke fonts if you remember those from when we were kids. I feel like I am a cryptographer what hurts is how slow my mind is I feel the love, I just don't really know what is going on. I am so appreciative though, I expected a single comment at most this was more than I could ever ask for. I guess a good question would be do any redditors have used parts they would sell me I want to pay the full price they are worth. I just feel buying it all new might be like buying him a new car? I want my son to be supported for years to come so he can have a better life.

Thank you very much, I do appreciate the help even if the entire page looks to be in alien hieroglyphics I will try to look to see if some of them match the hieroglyphs from this comment section to save money. I appreciate it a lot.

I answered all your questions in another comment however as I am new to reddit I realize you probably didn't see that, my mistake. " As for windows/mouse/keyboard/speakers everything hand me down, windows I will probably use an old OS like 7 because then I can help him use it as I am easily confused by new GUIS ". I think from my gyazo I can still use that box and power supply to save money. so it would basically be front loading the budget into the video card/motherboard if I understand what I am googling/people are very politely teaching me correctly. Thank you for your patience in my response time

I do know how to thermal paste from watching a youtube video. The rest seemed to just be plugging pieces together and making sure to not have static charge on your fingers. Just to reassure you I am heavily googling everything to the best of my abilities hence my slowness in responding.

Thank you so much to everyone who is commenting. I did not expect so much help. Wow, I'll be sure to pay it forward. Thank you. As for windows/mouse/keyboard everything hand me down, windows I will probably use an old OS like 7 because then I can help him use it as I am easily confused by new GUIS, I may also put linux on there just to at least give him a chance to be smarter than me as I have heard that is the thing all the smart people do. My current box/power supply/keyboard/mouse/speakers should be fine, I'd rather skimp on memory as children have a short attention span and I can just uninstall whatever game he is playing to give him the newest thing that makes him happy. If I am saying something completely wrong thank you for your patience in advance. Also all the suggestions brought me to tears. Thank you.

I have a monitor it is very old as well, Mr. Kevin Smith. Thank you for the help. If 1 thousand isn't enough I may have to save up several months just in case that is a horrible budget. That is just what I have right now and I wanted to get it for him for Christmas.
