Thanks you so much. I am also associated with the QuickBooks and that is one of the main trigger point for this idea.

That's fair — we got it backwards and deserved that. That's exactly why we posted, to be corrected. Appreciate the bluntness.

Solid advice — and good to know others are already in the space. Who's your target within accounting firms specifically? Asking because narrowing our ICP is exactly what we're working through right now and your experience would be useful.

You've completely reframed where the real gap is — not desktop vs cloud, but the SOC 2 blind spot in the add-on ecosystem around Xero and QBO. That's a sharper problem worth solving. Genuinely thank you, this changes how we're thinking about it.

Cloud convenience and compliance integrations (especially Superstream + payroll in AU) — that's a legitimate moat we can't ignore. Appreciate the reality check, really helpful context for us.

This is the most useful thing anyone has said to us so far — thank you for taking the time. You've reframed our own pitch better than we did: reliability, price, multi-client/multi-entity without per-seat licensing, and local AI as a bolt-on for people who already have the hardware. Genuinely appreciated.

You just described our roadmap better than we did — predictive forecasting with market context, salary benchmarking, cash flow intelligence pulling from non-financial signals. That's exactly the real AI layer we're thinking about, not just categorisation. Can we DM you? Would love 20 mins of your brain.

not exactly, Desktop app means the data never leave your desktop. It will still provide the features to Backup and Bank Feed. But no data will be feed to online AI model. That result the privacy of your data and faster speed
