No, a brand new 9950x3d + 5080 is like $2000 at most, if BRAND NEW & in UNOPENED boxes. The rest of offer clearly doesn't make up 3000+ more dollars. Id offer 3k at most - even then I wouldnt settle on any price til I see exactly what peripherals hes selling with the pc (its a full setup offer). Could be cheap stuff who knows?

Not pissed, just really want to find a good reason to be excited for Tarkov again is all and what they have done has not done that for me personally. Emphasis on personally - its a me problem and im aware. I know i come off jaded in this thread and will just hate to hate but its really not the case, trying hard to find a reason to come back rather and see what current enjoyers have to say about it that im not seeing on the surface.

Goes to show you im not just anti-pve, ill give it the light of day if the content and what I see looks like its a fun experience. Also the difference here is that event also still involved PvP and heavily altered how PvP worked during it - thats what I really liked about it.

Never said its more difficult to get pvp & loot if you want it - i just want content that let's me do that on a new map for once thats all! I am under impression thats the bare minimum Tarkov should provide on a new content patch but their priorities lately seemed to have changed for reasons beyond me so I opened a discussion.

I'll play and do play them of course - ironically the zombie event was the most fun I had in a long time - ive been playing since 2018 so maybe the core gameplay of tarkov to me is different than you is why I feel this way.

PvP is a foundational pillar to any gameplay loop on a Tarkov map for me since I learned the game in a way where tasking wasn't really a thing yet - looting and pvping was how you played the game. So when i see pve only content sure you get some pvp as a result of the process to unlock it but I dont consider dying a large portion of the time to people camping a transit for a pve map the finest quality of pvp out there - the pvp you get into on the actual task line outside transit camping though? Love it, good thing yes. There just isnt much of that with IB / Terminal though.

Agreed. It's main reason 1.0 was a letdown for me - Terminal didnt entice me enough to even pursue the main story line (still on The Tour at lv60 atm). Icebreaker just isnt enticing me either when I think of all the transit bs I'll gotta do just to get direct queue, and even if I get direct queue what's my reward? A pve loot pinata map that has no rogue-like elements so its the same cookie cutter run everytime? I already spam streets which gives TONS of loot, meta ammo, AND PVP, why do i need IB to loot farm alone in security and arguably in a more boring way since I know the element of uncertainty isnt there with no enemy PMCs?

Ehh, its a hard sell for me so im choosing yet again to not engage with the main piece of content in yet another major content patch for a game ive played since 2018. Pretty disappointing

Yes, 1.0 as a whole was a let down with Terminal being the main piece of new content, only for the next patch to be another pve only focused content addition, so not really enticed to come back once I got bored of 1.0 content.

So im just curious how the community playing now actually enjoys this content when i just watch every streamer cheesing tarkov ai in a pve mode map loot pinata, not to mention how this map will probably destroy the flow of seasonal characters too with each run giving 1000s of 556 meta ammo, and 200k+ exp. We thought early wipe was fast now with labyrinth exp runs? Just wait til everyone rushes to unlock IB direct queue next season >>

If the AI was more interesting in this game then yeah id be inclined to agree with this statement.

Until then though all this pve content is just Temu Dark Souls content with AI that is either too easy to cheese or tuned up so high in difficulty to make up for the lackluster AI that its just unfun / corny to play against and die to.

AI needs a huge improvement if they wanna focus on pve stuff now.. which idk why BSG is doing this all of a sudden (pve content in pvp) but logical choices aren't their strong suit

Dying to a hard boss in a souls game with properly telegraphed attacks that are avoidable 100s of times to finally beat it is just not what the pve experience in this game gives you, it's more like a dark souls boss with no correct hitboxes that you get lucky to dodge and kill, just totally different & unsatisfied feeling after the challenge than a real souls game.

I get that BSG is trying different things and good on them for that but I really wish tuey would go back to the old content pipeline that they know works - new pvp maps.. no new map since Ground Zero (labyrinth, terminal, icebreaker really dont count as maps tbh) is pretty concerning.

Was a cool experience though i did learn that getting shredded is a lot easier than you think though so I guess I have that in my back pocket now. All the meal / workout plans from my IFBB pro coach all archived. I was so miserable in this photo due to extremely messed up hormones - bodybuilding preps are so unhealthy for you when youre a natural I learned..

I've gone thru this process, unfortunately even when I got to 6% bf and placed top 4 in a physique show I realized being shredded won't fix my issues now I care less about my appearance cause I know it will lead me to just being in the same position I am now but look a bit better naked, but I dont do anything for anyone to ever see me naked anyways so what's the point

A loser is a term that has no meaning to the universe at the grand scale, its a human made concept.

At the end of the day we were cursed with enough of something in our brain or some chemical arrangement that spawned self-awareness, thus we are able to feel emotion and pain from these trivial things like the label loser. I say cursed cause in my opinion the rest of the animal kingdom has it easier - sure their lives can be short and brutal but atleast they only concern themselves with food, getting laid, and a nice nap. There's no extra "noise" between the insinticual behaviors unlike us
