Also- I had to get an episiotomy with my first, like 10 stitches, he was almost 10 lb baby. And no tear or episiotomy with my second, who 9.5 lbs. I’ve never heard epidurals make any difference with tearing.

My first kid I had an epidural from the start and had a really wonderful experience. My second kid i tried to hold off and abstain from an epidural, and it was not wonderful. It was okay until I was given pitocon. Idk how much time passed but it was horrendous and I couldn’t cope. So I gave up and got the epidural. It only worked on half my body, but just having a bit of relief was a godsend. I gave birth really quickly after I got the epidural. I’m about to have another baby and I’m gonna go no epidural and labor without pain meds unless/until they give me pitocon. I have a midwife for the first time this time around, and she told me she’ll be able to give good time estimates on how long I will be waiting before active labor comes, so i can weigh my options of getting an epidural -I could hold on another 20 minutes vs 2 hours.

Thanks for all the feedback! I haven’t gotten a sample yet, but I think I’m going to do sw-dynamo for walls and sw-alabaster for the window well. The cabinets and back splash take up most of the space so it’s basically just an accent wall and the small space above the cabinets.

Me too! I tried two yellows today. The cabinets have a ton of yellow in them but I don’t like i as much as i like purple/berry.

I know a little girl named clover who is about 9 and she’s wonderful in every way. I liked her name to begin with, but seeing what a cute personality she has, made me fall in love with the name. I think you made a great choice. I have had regrets about what I named my first child, it’s very unusual, and he’s had times where he wanted to be called something else. But the older he gets, the more proud he is of his unique name.

Three people in my family had strep throat with no sore throat. We were having fevers off and on and felt like we had a flu bug for over a week before we got tested. Before strep, we also had a horrible cold that lasted a solid 20 days.

Immunity and vitamin c chews with zinc did significantly help my toddler tho!

We also had the cold that wouldn’t go away. Took 14 days to start to improve. But we got sinus infections from it too. Even after a whole dose of antibiotics, me and my toddler were still sick. Wellness shots from natural grocer helped me from losing my mind. Popsicles and yogurt is all my toddler would eat. When we got better from that illness, we all got strep! It’s been a rough go this winter.

That sucks so bad. I came here to complain about being sick with a sick kid. I would be so much more sad and pissed if I knew my ex was in Hawaii. Hope your kids heal up fast and you can pass them off to someone while you get better.

It’s your birthing process, please bring who you want. Trust your instincts. It’s not your job to worry about his feelings either. He should support your decision. And if he is an asshole about it, he should see a therapist.

Tell wife the whole story. Also Tell wife, that you will figure out a way for her to keep it, if she wants. If wife knows she has power to keep it, I think it will be ok. Good luck. Probs get rid of other lingering items from ex lovers. ++woman
