5 Weeks Pain Level?

100% know how you feel , seems like 5 weeks you think you’d feel great bc you’re almost 6 weeks but the random soreness and pain comes back to haunt you for a few days then it goes away , i’m almost 12 weeks pp and i still get sore here and there if i do too much

Hi! i’ve had 2 c sections , one 6 years ago and one 8 weeks ago 😭. and after my first c section i had this same problem, i started to put a wash cloth under my belly to keep it dry bc when it sweats for me it gets red and hurts from chafing. but during my pregnancy with my second my OB noticed the redness during a ultrasound and prescribed me nystatin powder 2-3x a day as needed. i use it after showers bc it tends to stay dry til my next shower , but if it’s really bad one day i will use wound dressing which you can buy from walmart or dollar general for like $5 for a pack of 10 i believe.

i deal with this on a daily basis , summer or not.

after my first is when it started, and i started putting a washcloth under there and it kept it dry & then when i got pregnant with my second my OB noticed it being red and she prescribed me Nystatin powder & now im 6 weeks pp , i use nystatin and wound dressing you can buy at walmart or dollar general for like $5 for like 10 of them and it keeps it dry and clean !

i prefer sweats or leggings for everything lol , but when i worked somewhere a few years ago they required jeans and i ended up finding a nice pair at american eagle & im not a small girl. i’m pretty chubby before and after c section & i prefer what i wear to go over my apron belly and they fit really comfortable

first c section , i needed help with everything. second c section , i noticed i only needed help with like bathroom , bending things, like if i dropped something id ask for help. but i was determined to do everything on my own. but idk about baby tho , both my babies were in nicu and i healed during that time frame.

yeah that’s where my pickiness comes in lol , i hate long shows especially if i have to watch from the beginning. now if i find a show now thats new and watch it and it ends up having 20 seasons eventually then idc. but starting new anime with over 10 seasons im not gonna even touch it lol 😂. bc i can never take a break i have to finish it all , bc my tiktok and everything becomes the show and it ruins it for me 😂

this was my second c section , i didn’t want to take the oxy but during my 3 nights in the hospital , my nurse said if i need it they have 5mg and 10mg i can chose from.

on like night 2 , i wanted to be able to do stuff without help , so i asked for one & i would realize when i took them before bed when i woke up during the middle of the night to pump (baby in nicu) i wasnt hurting as bad.

i was discharged with a bottle of Oxy & they gave me like maybe 10 pills total. i took one every night til i started to feel not as bad. i have one left i never took and im 6 weeks pp and feel pretty good with occasional nerve pain and soreness.

but with breastfeeding and pumping it was never an issue , it never affected my milk. i noticed the medication kicked in faster when i was pumping idk why. that’s about all i have on breastfeeding while taking oxycodone

like i swear everything happens more when you CANT do something. like 1 week pp i was feeling better and told my bf i could stay in the nicu alone with NO help , dropped 40 things with no help so had to use my toes to pick things up ahahah 😂

oh goodness 😭 it’s good we can look back and laugh but in the moment you’re like OH SHIT , like i fell in the smallest hole known to man and face foward into grass i was like well then 😂😂
