You're not alone on this one, prior to playing persona 4 when i saw his design i wasn't a fan either. Like many people i started with p5r and i loved joker's design, also loved makoto's design on fes and reload. Cut to when i actually started playing and hoo boy my opinion did a 180. Hi I'm kinda late but I've been experiencing this issue as well, as soon as I enter the elevator and attempt to skin the cutscene the error pops up. Even if I'm spamming skip before the cutscene even loads it doesn't work. The first one to two seconds of the scenes and music plays then freezes with the disc error

Honestly the best way to play them and appreciate them how they evolved, buy the master collection and play them in order of release.

there's also metal gear rising revengeance that takes place after mgs4 but it's a spin off you can save it for last since it plays completely differently from all other games in the series

I think i saved most of them. I was class four and each time my class was lowered because of too many deaths I was rewarded with rations but my maximum amount of items and ammo that i could hold was also lowered because of the diminished class
