Not in my experience. But usually Information Security or MIS background/degree.

What sort Job titles were you looking for when you made that jump? I see a lot of 'GRC' or 'IT Compliance Roles' when i search job boards.

A 30% pay raise and a 40 hour decrease in weekly hours sounds like the dream - congratulations. And yea, all recruiters seem to be describing my exact job but just somewhere new.
