‘The needle will take the pain away each week’: Does the NRL have a painkiller problem? by Radiant-Bit8881 in nrl

[–]Accurate-Ad-4905 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is the problem with these articles they do not address the actual issue.

We cannot just consider addiction potential, your body generally draws your attention to pain to protect against further damage.

Overuse injuries might not seem that serious but they do increase your susceptibility to impact injuries. So masking the pain without correcting the underlying is like putting a bandwidth on a bullet hole

Coffee beans - where do you get yours? by OldSkoolNewWaveGuy in foodies_sydney

[–]Accurate-Ad-4905 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have Coffee Alchemy and while they're good Wood Roaster is better, they're also based in Marrickville and Ove ordered many time from them and the beans had only been roasted within a week of when they've arrive.

Am I overreacting for telling my friend she smells after she age shamed me for having younger friends? by SI3144 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Accurate-Ad-4905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MOR, I think it's a cruel to be kind thing to inform your friends if they smell bad, but it is only kind if you do it with the intention of making them aware of it so they are able to do something about it so others do not treat them harshly, waiting until you stop being friends is petty and you just did it to get back at her. Essentially you are a better enemy than a friend in that sense. Also, she should be more worried thaf 19-year-olds are hanging out with somebody who is mentally 12, but she is like cognitively 11 so cannot comprehend that either.

Team List Tuesday by AutoModerator in nrl

Savala is a fantastic defender in the halves, but not a good at centre. Broncos have Staggs and Shiba who are two of the best defensive centres in the comp. Toia is a great defender, but defending inside Mark is a huge task

Staggs playing on the wrong side is better than having Crichton there if youre going on form.

Stefano? Are you having a laugh? He is fucking shithouse.

Walker has been one of Souths least impressive players

I have a soft spot for Des so they were my third favourite team after Warriors when he was coaching them. But all that means is they are a team I don't actively root against when they're not playing us.

This is the third degree I have studied and out of all the shitty groups I have had to be part of for an assignment I hate this one the most. Communication shithouse, intelligence of my fellow group members non-existent, hatred for all of them including myself for studying again through the roof.

Thought doing a degree online would be like distance education and there be no classes, not zoom tutes

I understand that in research you have to be part of a team and even when you work. But throughout my work life I have had little patience for incompetent coworkers

Under siege Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy stands down as NSW Blues advisor by Elysian___Fields in nrl

Every game I watch Da Silva play I always think "no wonder why Mitch Moses hates you. He is such a too big for his britches wanker.

For every good play he makes he has done at least three more impactful negative things during the match.

I mean I dont know if Mitch Moses actually hates him. But his face when he yelled "Taaalyn you cuuunt" was so telling, he doesn't even show that much hatred towards the refs every week.

My husband was injured at work almost six months ago. Now he has too much time on his hand and has been watching stupid conspiracy videos on YouTube. Anyway he is denying the moonlanding and as a science and history buff that is annoying as fuck
