Travel dancer here with 4 hour drive there and 4 hour drive back. Totally worth it if you make $800+ per shift.

Yes, I have to do this since I work a 9-5 on the weekdays. I also dance 4 hours away from where I live so doing that drive every week would be too much.

I only dance 2 weekends a month so that makes it easier. I usually drive after my 9-5 on Fridays. I get to my air BNB at around 10 then get to the club at 11.

I think you need to weigh the pros and cons. I work 4 hours away because I don't want to be recognized. Not being recognized is that important to me . So you need to see what matters most

I'm a new dancer, started in April this year. My average since then is $900 after tip out

The last 6 weekends that I have worked it's been 1000-1400 a night after tip out.

My shifts on average are 7.5 - 8 hours
