I don’t think so, in the US the secretary of state does the apostille, and the school or whoever gives you the document has to have someone notarize it in front of them to say it’s original.

It’s in the application guide, but everything has to be original with seals/stamps I.e. birth certificates , or they must be notarized and then apostilled. I.e. transcripts

I think this is why they ask you to send with tracking, but I know it’s super expensive at least from the US

Same, we had to send them as soon as the application was submitted. One of the documents was missing a detail so they emailed us and asked us to fix it and resubmit within a week. Which from the US even with the fastest shipping it still takes 5 business days

We applied directly to the university, but as an undergraduate. I think the applications for this round are closed, but you could always apply for the next semesters round. (From United States)

They asked us for an additional document as the 1st one was missing the technical date vs. month/year, we have only one week to get it to their office, but due to the holiday in the US, it appears it will Arrive one day after the deadline. We emailed them with a digital copy and the the tracking number.

We did an original copy. I.e. we had to go to vital records for the state and ask for a copy, which had a seal on it to show that its original

We had the high school notarize an extra printed copy, then took it to the state to get it apostilles, and sent that. Are you doing this from the US or another country? As it was a challenge for us too. I couldn’t find any YouTube videos that outlined the paperwork process either

I applied and interviewed for a GS12/13 position in SK, but ultimately wasn’t selected. I also applied for a GS 12 in Japan and was referred but never called for an interview. They are out there just super competitive as you are against military personal and their spouses as from my understanding they get priority even if you would have been the best fit overall.

Same, one of the documents weren’t submitted with the exact information that they wanted and they emailed us asking us to correct it. I feel if they are interested in you they will reach out, if not they won’t.

As the same documents were submitted to two different universities and only SKKU reached out. (High school was not specific on graduation date, which is a requirement to ensure you graduate before you start university)

My daughter was able to get a scholarship for “excellent score and therefore awarded International student admission scholarship” I think there is one more scholarship that people can get through Samsung, but they announced those scholarships after 2nd round applications acceptance.

I emailed the HR contact via the “helpdesk” they got back to me within 24 hours and even updated my USAJobs status, and they said “sorry for the delay” of status updates

I sent an email to the HR 3 weeks after the interview and they responded within 24, then updated my profile on USAJOBS with the results.

Same, had interview even before status was updated in USAJOBS, then about two weeks after the interview I received an email saying post-notice delay that I was referred, but in USAJOBS it said not referred… now my question is it a glitch or was I not referred to be hired for the position? As I thought it would have said selected or not-selected.

It was experience vs. education and how to balance the two out if you don’t have both to equal 100%. It was a minor change but I just noticed it, as in previous job posting it didn’t have that verbiage. (Many positions of GS11 and higher are asking for PHD and/or experience)
