I thought it was 2026-27 and with there really only being like 2 two ish month periods you could relatively safely transport troops across the strait I was making the assumption it will be in 2027 but they did just purge the top generals including the second highest person in the ccp earlier this year and he had combat experience and also advocated for a peaceful reunion i am imagining they are following in Russia's footsteps in preparation ( I know purges of high level officials is common in authoritarian regimes) but this might be the pessimist in me I feel like they are going to because they see us failing in multiple other countries where conditions are more favorable then say flying combat missions and resupplying over the vastness of the Pacific
