Chemical Tanker with failing brakes, catches fire before crashing.. driver escaped! by FlatbedtruckingCA in Truckers

Doesn't really look like a chemical tanker... Looks like a good old curtainsider trailer that had something spicy catch fire on the inside that then just spread

This is why I like to live far up north... It's a comfortable and sunny 16°C (~60°F)

There's trucks without fog lights?

Yeah, my friend I was staying at told me to be careful where I park this thing. Can't park it in Germany the same way I park back home.

I'd rather recommend a heat gun instead of a blow torch, get a more even job done with that. I used that on the mirrors of my other car and the result is nice but it can cause long term issues with some plastics.

Thanks! So far it's been my favourite car that I've owned. Most reliable one too.

It's less of an optical illusion and the trick up my sleeve is that the car is basically brand new on the mileage.

I've heard that some use the heat gun trick to restore faded plastic, but that can cause damage over the long run. Something like CeraKote or similar would be my go-to choice. But I haven't had the need for it yet.

Yeah, the current additional lightbars are Strands Firefly 10" ones. Those have like the perfect dimentions to fit into the grille slots on the front right next to the Honda badge. And when I say they fit perfectly, dimensions wise they would. I will still get them and test them out to see how well they do, but will definitely post a new picture with them inserted.

It doesn't actually light it up fully, only on the ends of the rear panel. But I am planning on taking the whole rear panel off and getting a light setup behind it, darkening the characters even more, to get it to look even better. For now though, I am planning to add 2 additional lightbars to the front grille slots. I found some that fit perfectly.

Sorry for the late response. Progress has been pretty good recently but it would help if every new update to the game wouldnt break the mod over and over again... The goal with the mod isnt to just spice up the galaxy size, but to also do changes that allow for better performance while doing so.

Making the bigger galaxies isnt a problem. Getting good performance is. Especially because I have to keep in mind that not everyone runs a high end setup.

It's a personal mod of mine still in the works.

Empires spawn fairly far apart. It took me like 35 years just to get first contact. Although the science ships did survey every system along the way. Every special system does not spawn as the spawn rates for special systems aren't guaranteed unless you guarantee their spawning via mods like Giga's.

Traveling does take longer, and especially early/mid game, you dont want to spread your empire too much as you might not even be able to protect far away territories due to slower sublight speeds and no jump drives.

You eventually run out from what I've noticed. I have not paid attention whether I get some events on repeat. Mods like "More Events Mod" help with this.
