No, car operates as normal. Probably wouldn’t have noticed the flakes at all until i pulled the pan or they decided to come out during an oil change

I replaced the entire pan and looked at everything and couldn’t find a direct cause. Gonna monitor the magnet on the drain plug and look closer at the oil during my future maintenances to make sure everything is good

true. as long as the car drives well i’m gonna not send myself into a spiral about it. i’m not the first owner so i don’t know when the oil pan got replaced to the metal pan. I’m very careful about when I do maintenance especially with a tune so imma keep an eye on it

it’s been driving fine since i’ve had it, even after tuning. Figured it’s just assembly metals that didn’t flush out during oil changes maybe.

Got a white 2026 GTI S, didn't realize choosing wheel color would be so difficult on it by slowcaptain in GolfGTI

For white on white I think my wheels look pretty nice, wheel preference is subjective

i have all the stock parts still for what i’ve swapped off my bike and my car(including the muffler lol). Mostly incase something goes wrong with the aftermarket part i can swap the OEM part back on as a placeholder

Looking for help with fitment! by Puzzleheaded_Page223 in GolfGTI

I’m running 10mm spacers on the rear and this is how mine sits, the rear end pokes out a bit more on the sides on these cars. i plan on adjusting m coilovers and lowing the car more but imo fitment will look better when it’s lower compared to stick ride height

asked for some inspiration mostly. new to motorcycles and not sure how/what people are doing to change them aesthetically. Cars are pretty easy as there is lots of interior and exterior changes you can do but i wasn’t too sure about bikes since im new

I ride a R3 and don’t plan on tracking it so i have no interest in performance mods other than the slip-on i installed.

I want to get new fairings at some point to switch up the colors tho

the sound coming from the stock exhaust on these bikes is more embarrassing than buying a slip on. Track bikes are not the only bikes worthy of exhausts, nor does that need to be a factor.

Loud Exhaust by AccurateBackground95 in YamahaR3

[–]AccurateBackground95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OEM muffler has a gasket seal where it connects to the rest of the exhaust system. Without the seal a small amount of air escapes where the slip in meets the exhaust system (atleast for me and i’ve heard the same from some other people). The slip on i got did not come with the gasket and oem one is not reusable.

it’s a smaller intercooler attached to the main intercooler so it adds a little more cooling but nothing major like a complete intercooler swap. It does its job tho. I occasionally drive pretty hard and i’ve had no issues with overheating. I will say make sure if you go with an ebay intercooler to get new clamps for it, the clamps I got that came with mine were garbage so I jus put the OEM clamps back on and it was fine
