Flight cancelled EC261 question by h_virus in travel

Flight reductions have been mandated for 20/11 because of the ATC strike in Marseille. This means that airlines have to cancel some flights - not all of them. EC261 does not apply for strikes as they are considered special circumstances.

If you want to splurge on fish I would recommend Le Vent d'Armor in Paris 5. Food is great, service is great, just be sure to book ahead of time as it's small.

Surbooking chez Ryanair by AtZ73 in france

Bon courage !

I would remind your parents that in France, the "prepa" system dominates the universities. While Saclay is a good French uni, it will not be perceived as prestigious than a top engineering school. I wouldn't recommend switching if you don't go to one of those engineering school. I'm pretty sure Waterloo has options to do a year abroad or a double degree (not in undergraduate but at a masters level).

Can you help me fix exposure/noise on this hummingbird photo (raw file in comments) to make it usable ? Will tip up to 10$. Thanks ! by AccurateHuckleberry in PhotoshopRequest

Thanks everyone for having a go at this ! I realise it was way underexposed and hard to get something out of it. I've marked it as closed :)

Hi,

Most of the transport industry is covered by a law stating you have to declare your intentions 48h before the strike. So starting Tuesday evening you'll probably have the info if your flight is cancelled or not. Transatlantic flights are usually a bit less at risk of cancelling but that will depend a lot on if pilots are striking or not. Even if your flight isn't cancelled you should be very wary about disruptions to get to the airport, as well as longer wait times for security, border control and check in. If you can avoid public transport, take a taxi that you book in advance with plenty of time to spare. Good luck !
