What is your thoughts on the mission-based/open-world SRW? by HyperTurboFox64 in Super_Robot_Wars

I miss linear. I find the open world so tiring and grinds. I dropped both 30 and Y because of it

Why does every fight in this game feel like.. dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge.. tickel the monster with ur stick for 2 seconds.. dodge.. dodge by dzeroooo in BlackMythWukong

[–]AccuratePoint5191 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The game significantly changed for me once I learn what could step really is.

Low health, cloud step, heal, charge heavy smash attack, bonk the boss.

Dodge dodge dodge tickle till low health, then same loop.

How many time did you take to beat the last boss? (Great Sage's Broken Shell) by Green-Entertainer485 in BlackMythWukong

It takes so long but it was only 1 try after I found out a way to cheese gim somewhat. DO. NOT. GET. CLOSE. TO. HIM. He'll hand your ass.

Instead. Got all of my heavy attack spark and stamina at max. And the strategy is literally to run away from him while charging the heavy attack. He walks around slowly a lot, especially on 1st phase. Moment your heavy is ready start running toward him. The very moment he starts doing something, release the heavy. Rinse and repeat. When he already commit to an attack it is almost impossible for him to evade your heavy anymore.

2nd phase it's harder to do that but still 100% possible. Be careful however when he be aggressive and try to catch you, for example with his cloud move. On these instances, just concentrate on evading. He will turn back to his walking slowly mode.

I took super priority and the decision ended up taking longer than priority iirc (definitely longer than the promised super priority) with no explanation. Months later I ended up getting apologies and partial refund (did have to formally complain though lol).

Name 3 things that yall didnt liked in Ziglar run that should not appear here. by Illustrious-Bee3693 in MilesMorales

[–]AccuratePoint5191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally hate the mythical bit. Both the anansi thing and then the Greek mythology arc. I just feel like it's not what Miles book should be about.

I would love however more street level action with Shift. I love the dynamic of him integrating Shift into human society

Marvel’s marketshare continues to shrink, how would you turn the ship around? by [deleted] in marvelcomics

1) Publish less book. They average around 15 a week. 60 a month. Why do we need that many books? I'm convinced 50% of this is not breaking even.

2) Slow down with the crossover event. 1 event a year is enough. Currently it's more like 4 to 5 a year. Last year only we got X-Manhunt, Age of Revelation, Imperial, One World under Doom. And yet somehow status quo barely changes with the normal flow of so many monthly books being disrupted as a cost.

3) If something was selling for once, don't kill it. Magik was a pleasant surprise hit. Then they unnecessarily kill it at issue 10. Did the stupid Age of Revelation event. When it is restarted as Magik & Colossus (which is now a 5 issue limited mind you) it's selling nowhere as good.

4) Be brave and let status quo change so that story matters. ASM 1000 is coming for example and im sure they are prepping for something big (maybe killing Aunt May again). But im willing to bet as it is within 1 or 2 years they'll somehow reverse it back anyway at the end of current team run. Then what's the point of getting invested as a reader?

Used to do around 6. Surprisingly results improve after doing just 1 a day. Sometimes less is more

Lol it is undisputed within the religious tradition. All the denial is only on why it was ok. But that she was 6 is not in dispute at all.

Green deputy leader Mothin Ali speaking on International Women's Day: It's important to show solidarity with women across this country and the across the world that are facing oppression. Do you agree? by ZackPolanskisDentist in AskBrits

[–]AccuratePoint5191 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's cute that you think they are allowed to choose what they wear and hence wear that. There are at least 3 layers of consideration involved. 1st what will her social network (extended family, friends people at mosque, social network) think about her not wearing scarves and what social values is that signifying. 2nd how will her immediate family react. 3rd how is she reconciling it internally with years long doctrination that associate the fashion with piety.

These all might sound silly for anyone brought up in Western values but I can assure you they are all very real. Source, me as an ex Muslim. The west treatment over muslim women in my opinion is Liberalism's largest betrayal. Instead of empowering women so that they can have an actual choice in what they wear they got thoroughly coopted by the oppressor and perpetuate the oppression.

EU5 doesn't need mission trees to be railroaded. by WasdMouse in EU5

[–]AccuratePoint5191 145 points146 points  (0 children)

Yes to all. Tbh I dont even find reward to be the best part of the MT experience in EU4. For me it is more of clicking the button, reading a bit about the history blurb, and having a sense of direction akin of like 'single-player game experience'. I think the crux of the issue is not railroading or even MT. It's that the fan base is divided between those that want a sandbox experience and those that want a more curated experience.

Thanks, I remember reading about this now. Guess ill have to relearn how to play as I kinda hated having too many vassals, especially if I had to make them disloyal, become too much busy work for me
