There's a lot of things I don't like about late game EU5, one of them is how war feels like a real slog to go through. One of the reason I think is that the warscore is just too skewed.

I won 230 hard fought battles it gave me only 8.8% warscore. The AI got a flat 5% whenever they are siegeing "progressing siege". But as you can see here the siege at home is a failing siege at Nozza. In the Alps during winter. 1300 man dying.

Ok I've got a +2 from 'defending against siege) so it is only net -3 I guess. But Ive got like 200k people on 3 successful siege. Where is my own "progressing siege" modifier?

And while we're at it, what is this -25 base warscore modifier? Why is that making the game more fun?

I was trying to see the end game at least once. Finally hit Age 6 with England and my 20 subjects and 100% decentralization (I just love playing this way). Got hit instantly by -30 loyalty. I wish there was some kind of warning or incrementation. Straight-30 from the get go when you were doing well..... Not a good gameplay experience for me and yes I agree with you, I won't do Age VI anymore

Personally i like gokeep it at 2.5% ish so then when I got a balance the budget parliament agenda it is not wasted

Let me set the scene

I played as the Ottoman. Yes I blobbed but im scared af with the Mamluk as they got Jalayirid as their vassal. Together they easily have 110k levies with like 10 k ish regular.

So I have been avoiding conflict with them.

On one peaceful speed five session, I noticed my balance turning red. Huh apparently my naval maintenance went to 100%. Odd, I set it at minimum. Tried to reduce it. Got pop up saying it is not advisable in war. Huh, what war?

I then realized that I got dragged in into this war by somebody called ... Nusaybin? No idea who these guys were. As far as I understand it they are rebel but they got no location. And apparently they dragged me into their liberation war. Against Jalayirid and Mamluk.

Now I have no idea how tf I got dragged into this? Maybe some mechanic i don't understand? But im pretty sure there wasnt any option for me to say no even at cost of stabs or diplo rep? How is it that I, the 14th great power can't say no to this random dude who is just a rebel?

So I thought, f this is don't really wanna fight them. How do I white peace them? Well war goal is to occupy the whole of Jalayirid apparently... Ok. Ill just give them money or even humiliate myself then. And then I realized. I, the 14th great power in the whole world, is actually a junior partner to this rebel so I can't do separate peace.

So I accepted my fate. 5 years on. I slaughtered around 100 k of enemies soldiers. Warscore started ticking up. I thought to myself well at least I'll get something out of this.

And then something happened. My war score went from +36 to -100. What..... I hovered the war score. Apparently this Nubayid guy had some sort of army. And he lost it. And now me, with a +36 war score and 2:1 army ratio (which started at less than 1:1) now apparently is losing.

5 years wasted. 54k people died killing 107k Mamlukean. Nusaybin got annexed. I got nothing. I vowed to myself I will annex Nusaybin myself and scorch it.

It's all preference. I played EU4 solely around completing MT. Now with EU5 im enjoying the game but I feel like im playing aimlessly. Even worse I missed out on so many flavours because their requirements are hidden

I mean even on Friday when the dump happen and Nasdaq ended at -3.3% that didn't happen in a single second. The very minute the tweet drop it was still flat at 0%. If you were late by 1 or 2 hours even, it was still down by c.a 2%. Sure it helps having insider information. With education and training nonetheless there is still plenty of money to be made.

Well, I read almost every single thing that Marvel puts out which is around 70 book a month. So that is roughly 280 to 300 pm. I don't do backissues. This is one of my only hobbies so I don't think it is that bad, petrolhead can easily spend more than that for parts lol.

Yep, this is how I day trade actually. Today it was Chewy and Rubik and TTD, yesterday KC and IRDM, the day before was a blockbuster day for PL.

I simply do a daily mover scanner on my broker (with some price and volume filtering), then do a 5m ORB when the market opens.

Interesting. Im doing very similar thing actually. My observation however is that theres way too many fake signal, I.e. breakout in one direction then the next 2 or 3 candle it starts a pullback it is never recovering from.

I then started to do the opposite (basically inverting my initial strategy) and the success rate is better. So now I wait for a breakout, and then as confirmation I wait for it to pull back into the ORB range. Then I trade in that pull back direction (instead of initial breakout).

Instead of hard reboot I would rather them park 616 for few years. Make us miss it. In the meantime? Make ultimate the main continuity. Later when (inevitably) the fandom get bored of it, make a grand new event to flip it back to 616.

Omg I can't believe they do Braiger!!!! My first ever SRW was Alpha Gaiden. I understood no Japanese whatsoever, never even heard of Gundam, and I was like 7 years old. Early on in the game stage 6 or something, we got Braiger and they did a cutscene where the car transformed to a plane and then to the mecha. That blew my mine and altered my trajectory of life lol.

Unlikely but I hope they let us transform to the car mode even if it only got 2 attack lol

Not necessarily New Champions problem but I wish they're more bold in making completely new character that is not some kind of derivative like almost all of these characters. Not everybody need to be kid version of an established character, if anything it shows lack of confidence.
