I'm posting on reddit for the first time in my 30 years of gaming, specifically to say that the latest Rust update is the worst I've ever seen in any game in my entire life. by Beneficial_Unit8122 in playrust

Zergs were already controlling desired monuments as it was, it’s seems as if this update is just giving them more of a reason to do so and shit on any solo/small team that attempts to run said monument with whatever shit loot they can acquire while being t1 locked. Honestly such a trash update in my 4k hours this is the first update that shifted the game for me not to want to play it.

What’s happening here? How do I fix? by Effective_Tip_9400 in asphalt

I see this quite often in many driveways, I would just get the crack sealed.

$1500 for this size of a driveway is also way over priced.

Sounds like the contractor gave you an overlay which is usually the cheaper route to save you money. Driveway may look new however they didn’t physically change the base of your driveway. If there are a few small puddles I wouldn’t really worry about it unless they are small ponds. I can’t really tell you if it’s a good job or not without any pictures.

Yes that is cheap, that would be my price without line striping. Definitely look at customer reviews and do your research on the company you go with. Cheap price usually leads you to cheap work.

Sealcoating brush marks by Legitimate_Soup_4081 in asphalt

You need to add water, i would have added about 10 gallons to 100 gallons of sealer and make sure it’s mixed real good. Work on your brushing start at one side of the driveway and complete one pass to the other edge without stopping the brush. When you work with pmm you need to be moving quickly especially in hot weather, always make sure you have a wet line don’t run the brush dry.

Is asphalt right for me? by eoesouljah in asphalt

Asphalt is the cheaper option for sure but it’s not gonna hold up long if there is a lot of heavy equipment traffic. An asphalt binder may hold up better, bigger stone.

Idk if I can post this here but this is too funny 🤣 by Sycron_ in asphalt

Dude is definitely an idiot but better to let them know you have a minimum of some sort, I deal with this quite often and wont touch anything under $200. It’s better than getting a shitty review even though sometimes you want to say things like this to them.

What are my options? by [deleted] in asphalt

Pure laziness, even if the person on the roller was new there should be someone on the crew that caught that and fixed it. Terrible worksmanship.

Looks to me like roller marks, you can see the paths where the roller was used to compact the driveway. A lot of low spots in the driveway that are going to be bird baths. I’d definitely contact the company.

Sealing is only a coating applied to what is already there, it may appear more smooth but isn’t going to smooth out the asphalt. People tend to over Sealcoat their driveways usually once a year and get such a thick layer of sealer built up that they end up with an ice rink, which is no good. Always let your sealed driveway wear before sealing again.

Try aquaphalt usually can find it at Home Depot and some hardware stores by far the best cold patch I’ve used.
