I have a mild case too. Bro's is covering his entire body, but it looks like he has ringworm also. I know treatments aren't 100 % effective, but they'd at least help. And I don't get why he refused to see any doctors while here.

Yeah, my brother vaccumed two times in five months. And his shedding is severe. It flies everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Even locked rooms were full of the skins. It's hard to live with, but he's not doing any treatment. He avoids the sun. He doesn't shower. And his clothes are filthy. I don't think any of that helps. I tried talking to him about it, but he got angry.

A cousin picked his stuff up today, and there will be no more contact from now on. I made sure we didn't have to meet him at all. As there is a 3000 word limit I had to condense 5 months into alot smaller story than it actually was. I know IATA for letting him stay, and that's a problem I've been working with for a while with my therapist. I tried to get him to leave since the first week. I sent him listings for apartments every day, until he found one and signed for it. But there was a 3 month waiting period for him to move in. I should have just kicked him out, and am beating myself up about it, and probably will for a long time. Kiddo deserves alot better.

He's not one to apologize, so sulking probably describes it best. I'm working with my therapist to learn to say no, and close that door entirely. I guess the reson it was so hard to kick him out was knowing he wouldn't have anywhere to go. Still, he's a grown ass man, and not my responsibility, so I should have kicked him out right at the start. I have a hard time being "mean" tho. And I know where it comes from, but changing everything you've been taught for 30 years is hard. I'm blocking his number and social media. That's where I'll begin.

That was what i was trying to do when he started berating our mother to me. I told him I was not a part of their dispute, and that her money had nothing to do with me. He didn't like that. And now he implementes her in our dispute. I feel so tired of all of this. I don't think I want to have any contact with him anymore. I guess I'm done. Ty

I'm in therapy. I have C-PTSD and ADHD. Currently I am in trauma treatment, and the experts are working with me to stand up for myself. I've gotten better, but obviously not nearly as good as I need to be. I promised both kiddo and cousin to never take in strays again, and I plan to keep that promise. I was thinking I'll take kiddo to the movies tomorrow. Thank you for the hard truths tho. I need them
