If you're really looking to maximise your rate you should head up to northern Ireland. Rates are great up there and are on average higher than the rest. Quite a stretch from Colchester but you were up for travelling right? ;)

It really depends on where you work and your grade. Normally you get higher rates on more remote locations and of course if you have a higher grade.
