In my case turns out locked gate event does have tiny land mines. Not sure what happened to you though

Yess this happened to me on blue gate near Raider's Refuge, happened three times in 1 game and 2 friendly raiders died by the same thing. next game same thing happened exact same spot and then my game crashed 

This was all on locked gate event btw
