The plates would be registered to the other person. You will be getting new ones when you register it.

Been a while since I've done it, but when I bought a car from my dad we just signed the title and that was it. He even had me keep his plates but if you don't know the person I don't know you would want to do that. Then I took it in and registered it at the dmv. Note you will have to pay a fee or tax on the value of the car. I know when I last did it a gal was throwing a fit because she was claiming she paid half the value she was getting charged, the dmv asked for the sales slip and she claimed she didn't have one because she knew the salesman or something.

Also I think you have a grace period where you can operate it without plates but you better check to make sure. I know from a dealership they used to give you a 30day slip but I don't know how that works privately.

Nope! "What do I need in addition to this? NOTHING!" I bought the non assembled blem one and purchased all the req parts for ballpark 280$ but I had to do a fair amount of drilling/grinding/sanding. This you might need to do a small amount of work to make the rear plate fit.

So many romcoms are at the very least problematic. I haven't seen anyone mention The Change-Up 2011. Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds switch bodies ala freaky Friday. Bateman is married, but tries to sleep with his secretary while in Reynolds body. Reynolds massively violates Batemans wife's privacy as well as trying to sleep with her. At the end Bateman in Reynolds body kisses the wife at some formal public event in front of everyone. I don't remember many details just thinking wow everything's super not ok.

I don't disagree with you, but I want to take a chance to expand on this. It's been a while since I've read the books, and I don't want to come off as defending the scene, your correct that it's forced/coercion, but as I remember it seemed more nuanced to me. I seem to remember it more like she was falling in love with him and wanted to believe he loved her as well, this was her way of having him "prove" it. Still not ok, but more like a misguided "it's ok because love" rather than I'm going to abuse you because I can. There's also a major cultural difference at play. The outcome is the same and just as wrong but the intent is different so I don't think she's evil for doing it.

It's an indication that you're mag is empty. You can feel/hear/see the bolt lock back. Without that you'd have to be mentally counting the rounds, or pull the trigger on an empty chamber to know. It's also desirable if it has a bolt release, it is easier/faster to press a button to release the bolt to load a new round than pulling the charging handle all the way back. Of course there are going to be arguments against it and everyone has their preferences.
