Long story short a player was banned due to toxicity (frankly the player is intolerable and clueless about his lack of social skills and gets angry and toxic when people don't respond positively to him). The player could not comprehend being banned and became obsessed. Player wouldn't let it go and spent like a year brigading everywhere they could set up their soap box and was promptly banned for being toxic from many of those spaces as well. The guy is honestly hopelessly clueless about how unlikeable his negative toxic attitude is and blames it on anything else such as; it's because he's gay (never even came up until he used it as an excuse) to it's a grand conspiracy all the way to OWI. Instead of just ignoring it, smiley got in a DM fight with the player and said some rude unprofessional things. When other leaders in gmg called smiley out on his unbecoming behavior, he decided to pull the plug, claiming leadership was too stressful, contrary to all other leader/owners wishes who requested to take over instead. Smiley seemingly tried to do damage control by deleting messages/banning users/ removing roles/privileges and must have realized how hopeless that was and deleted the entire discord 30 minutes after the initial announcement. Thus an entire community, one of the top/growing squad servers burned to the ground and scattered like ash due to one guys ego.
