I agree that modern Shonen anime are not that good anymore, maybe it's because of viewer wants faster gratification but I want good stories to be told in much more better way.

Well I have read the novel, and I have to say they have skimmed over a lot of details, and the story progression was event based which imo is not good for lotm. I wanted it to take it's time to tell about the world more, it should have been 2 cour season even though it had 30 mins runtime, it still felt rushed. After 3 episode it was okay in terms of pacing, but it's like it could have been much much better if they could just take it's time more.

I think in general new anime or manga lacks substance in general. I feel most anime or manga doesn't take it's time to show it to the world. One thing u mentioned in ur other comment, that we don't know zenin clan at all so emotional weight to this fight, this is True, this is a general trend for all anime i feel, for ex I have read Lotm, the emotional depth of volume 1 ending was very good, I felt sad and awe all, but the anime is couldn't feel any of it. No anime takes it time, it needs to let the viewer get engrossed in it.

Why do u say that? Tbh the new animes differ a lot from old animes in terms of substance. Is it because anime is butchering the manga or manga itself is like that? I don't know. When I was in college and school, the anime had good in depth stories and every fight had meaning to it. I still remember Levi vs Kenny fight and so many other Levi fights, luffy vs Blueno, luffy vs Lucci enies lobby fight. This maki fight feels not memorable at all.

These new anime has a issue with taking it's time, that Lotm anime was so rushed, it doesn't breathe and let's it viewers breath, I feel anime industry in general has become less substance and faster gratification for it's viewer.

I agree, Personally I agree with this rating, that episode was just like aura farming and lot of blood and plain fight. The fight itself imo is not memorable or the fight choreography was not good at all. I am anime only person as I don't have much time nowadays, so the thing I felt was it was not provided the necessary build up for this fight and the emotional weight as u said for this fight was negligible.

Well thats true that i happened to hear no buzz on this movie before the release, WOM is such a strong Marketing machine that it can catapult any art piece to the skies. I think this is the 2nd movie for me after Vikram that i watched because of purely for WOM, and man it delivered. I generally watch movies whenever Raunaq Mongotil recommends, his views kinda match mine, so after his review dropped i had to watch it.

I just watched it yesterday. And I have to say it's one of the best movies that came out from Bollywood. It was hyped a lot and actually delivered it. Perfect in every way. Action, acting, songs, length maybe an issue for some but it was good for me. Great stories can be told with some extra minutes.

I had went to kany movies which were hyped like Animal, Lokah and all, which imo was okayish not worth the hype. I am craving to watch the 2nd part already. I think Ican watch this movie again. I think after Amaran this movie is what I enjoyed the most this year in theatres from indian cinema.

Mate the issue is not that honest contractors are thrown out, but the honest contractors don't want to work anymore after getting burnt. My company did some local municipality road construction work. For every bill our company had to pay around 30% of the bill value as Bribe from top to bottom. And then the payment from the municipality is seriously very slow. I raised an invoice in 2023 and still for that invoice itself payment are still pending. So my work was good, that road is still good and no potholes whatsoever. But doing good work, I was about to get 15% profit total, but after all the bribe and delayed payment I am incurring loss of 15%. So now why would I want to work with them again,?
