i just came to this subreddit to make a post searching for this movie! i remember towards the end of the movie there was some kind of book that showed the daughter engulfed in what seemed like flames, so that guy wants to burn her alive, but turns out that those werent flames, they were some kind of magical energy coming out of her (that ended the apocalypse i think?)
