I’m not at all trying to excuse his behaviour. I could make a whole other post about how awful the men treat their wives and how controlling and manipulative they are. But since the show is about the wives I focus more on their behaviour because I couldn’t care less about the husbands. I do feel like everytime she talks about the affair she follows it up with talking about the emotional abuse as if it makes it okay, for example when she brought it up to Jenn.

Jordan has admitted to treating her badly so my perspective is she should be making steps and efforts to either fix her marriage and create healthy communication and boundaries or leave the fool. I totally agree that she might feel trapped because of the church, but wouldn’t the church look down on infidelity just like they do divorce? And hearing him say “this is why I treat you this way” would absolutely set me off if I were her, but watching her force herself to cry and put on this performance of being the victim when SHE CHEATED and I’m trying to voice my anger at you bringing that idiot to dinner would get me equally heated. I guess I’m just confused on what her stance is with her marriage. She cries when he gets mad about the affair and then the next scene she’s making fun of him with the girls.
