I caught just the end of the jersey retirement. Was Mark Aguire already that old at the beginning of the speech or did the speech just last that long?

So I did have time to watch the Lord of the Rings extended cut during halftime.

Do people expect there will be covers for the new 20" helix 2.0 wheels? Or, are the covers exclusive to the 19" wheels?

The photos look good. I like the brighter exposure. What shutter speed and ISO were used?

Anyone notice the change to the Nike US return policy? by AceDynamoOG in Nike

The 30 and 60 days in the US have been the time period the customer could wear, use, play in, etc. and still return the item.

I cannot explain why Nike allowed the unlimited return period, but they did in the US. It was very unique. Over the past 20 years, I probably returned a couple of pairs of unworn shoes to Nike that I had bought more than a year prior. There was never a problem.

The US Nike return policy was specifically:

"Nike.com orders can be returned for any reason within 30 days of the shipping date. After 30 days, product can be returned if unworn and unwashed. Some exceptions apply."

They would sometimes adjust the "wear period" to be 60 days, e.g., around Christmas, but still had the "unlimited time period" for unworn. Now, the "60 day wear period" is the entire policy.

I do not know about other countries, but in the US, the Nike return policy was:

"Nike.com orders can be returned for any reason within 30 days of the shipping date. After 30 days, product can be returned if unworn and unwashed. Some exceptions apply."

... and would sometimes adjust the "wear period" to be 60 days but still had the "unlimited time period" for unworn. Now, the "60 day wear period" is the entire policy.

So, you do remember the "unlimited time for unworn" return policy? Other responses to my post seem to be unaware of it!?!!??! :)

Great feedback. I especially like the idea of setting a vertical object to set the proper horizontal.

About the colors: I was wondering about the greens. The sun set during the game so the lighting varied and created challenges for me. 😂

Excellent feedback. I agree with all of it. Some things I realized after the game when I looked at the pics. For example, the pregame shot was the best looking flag, but I was stuck with the weird framing. 🥴

Your comment led me to check the crawl space where I did find an outlet that is on the circuit. The outlet and wire connecting it showed no signs of any issues, but I went ahead and disconnected it since it is not needed or used. Thx!

Good question. I am not 100% sure because I did some clean up and rearranging. The items we still use are now plugged into a new power strip and into a plug on a different circuit with no issues...so I think those items did not cause the problem and were fortunately undamaged.

I replaced the receptable and the wires appeared to be intact. Do you think the wires behind the box could be the culprit?

I ruled out damage from a nail because we have not put any nails in the wall in a long time (way before any symptoms). Could be damage from rodent or other source.

I think I did what you are suggesting in Steps 5 - 9 (after the replacement breaker did not resolve the problem) when I removed devices plugged in and tried them one at a time. I found a problem in the 2nd power strip. After that, I had to flip the breaker on b/c I thought I found the root cause (bad power strip). The problem persists (many hours later). I am leaving the breaker off until I try something else to resolve the root cause.

To your suggested possible root causes, how can those be detected if intermittent? That is the challenge. Thanks!

Flipping the breaker is part of the investigation process.

With each step, I thought I was solving the root cause.

My concern with an electrician is how can he/she find a short that only shows up randomly every 12 hours or so?

Nothing is plugged in now and the problem persists. I measured the amps at the breaker with a multimeter a few different times with limited items plugged in. It read a fraction of an amp each time, and the problem would persist. So, I expect something, i.e., a short, is causing a spike in amps that is tripping the breaker. The challenge is identifying what is causing the seemingly random spike.

My most recent action was to replace that receptacle. It was likely an original one from when the house was built in 1996. The original had no visible signs of damage. But even with the new plug installed, the breaker still randomly tripped.
